My latest read - Keepers of the Kalachakra

I recently read this book and I am delighted to share my views on it.

The Keepers of Kalachakra is a wonderful book written by Ashwin Sanghi. Among the current Indian authors he surely is one on the top of the league. He is erudite and puts in a lot of research into his work. Such research is loads of hard work and acumen to weave that material into a brilliant and thrilling story. It is difficult to build thriller stories around the old concepts of ancient Indian philosophies and keep the reader guessing and yearning for the next twist in the story.

As a person interested in the aspects of ancient Hindu philosophy and mythology, I have myself read many of the areas of research that Ashwin Sanghi seems to do as an author before writing a book and that involves a lot of painstaking efforts and a brilliant mind to weave such excellent storylines. His earlier work ‘The Krishna Key’ is also an excellent book to read.

As always, in the Ashwin Sanghi style, he has linked two different eras and concepts in the storyline to bring out an amazing thriller. Cleverly weaving a thrilling story around the Vajrayana Buddhism, Advaita philosophy, practices by the timeless Indian mystiques, and the research of modern science in the quest for God or the God particle etc., is difficult but he has done it writing an absorbing story to read. No doubt such writing will make a huge fan following for Ashwin Sanghi. This book is good thriller with a nice storyline, so enjoy reading it!
